MOROCCAN SALADS FES COOKING CLASS

The Moroccan cuisine is so rich of salad recipes we have; from the uncooked fresh salads to the spicy hot salads ones.

On your Fes cooking class, the chef will teach some exquisite salads and the technique to nail the perfect tasty salad dish from your own choice, in the heart of Fez Medina.

In the beginning, we shall take you to the local market, in order to shop the ingredients we are going to need.

Then we shall continue to the kitchen riad where your cooking class will begin.

Following the chef’s steps, you are going to prepare a tasty spicy salad: the cooked Zaalouk salad; which is made from eggplants, tomato, spices, coriander, and garlic. You can use the same spices to prepare a cornflower salad as well or a carrot salad

After that, comes the preparation of the tektoka salad. For this salad, you’re going to need green and red pepper, parsley, coriander, and garlic. As well as spices like; black pepper, cumin, ginger paprika, and saffron.

Then, the chef will teach you to make Fresh Moroccan salads, of fine slices of tomato, cucumber, onion, green pepper, and coriander. With a bit of olive oil, salt, and white vinegar.it can be as simple like that or you can add maize to it, with some fresh Lettuce as well.

Eventually, you’ll have time to enjoy your salads with the local family and friendly cozy ambiance, and take pictures with them in the riad to document these incredible moments.
